¶ 1. Login
To configure and monitor the plc, administration pages are present in the HMI. Administration forms are password protected: They can be accessed at startup or by user code.
Once the PLC is started, a startup page is loaded; it shown a button with a countdown.
Pressing the button, a login page appears to log into the administration pages. To login and access to the administration forms, select User 7 or above (User 8, Developer or Manufacturer)
The type "password" in the password field (it can be modified in the account page) and press the login button.
Once logged a form menu appears.
¶ 2. System Preferences
¶ Info
Displays information about PLC's usage.
The play and pause buttons allow the user to enable or not the IEC task, without stopping the plc program.
The header shows the project's informations (Project setting in the IEC editor).
Tabs in the bottom parts show cpu and disk usage.
- Real time tab contains the real time process scheduled.
- User space tab contains normal tasks (the same of the top command)
- Disk usage shows information about internal memory
¶ Devices
Similar to the watch list, this page allow the user to monitor all PLC I/O. I/O can be internals (depend on the model) or extrenal (CAN).
Data e with I/O fileds, or mapping data types create with the can node configuration by EDS, are showed here, in a tree view mode or list mode.
Variables can the setted clicking on its value.
¶ Application Variables
Similar to the watch list, this page shows all the projectc's variables and their values.
The page contains two tab, Variables and Tracer.
The first one contains a list of variable organized in a tree view.
They can settted clicking on the values and typing a new one.
Variables can be grouped by type or IEC pous.
They also can be filtered typing a filter string in he text field on top.
The tracer tab allows to show data in graphical mode, to see values in time.
¶ Network Preferences
This page allows you to configure network settings.
The IP address can be set via DHCP or manually, by specifying address and mask.
Gateway and DNS server can be set in the specific fields
¶ Values Manager
This page allows to load and save the values of the plc's variables .
You can select the internal memory or USB drive (if a pen drive is inserted into the plc)
Values loading can be done on the fly or in safe mode. in this case the PLC task will be stopped first.
You can save the values and manage the previously saved file.
To reset the plc memory, the values of the retain variables can be deleted.
¶ Account
Users can not be created.
Is possible to change the current user's password and all lower-level users.
Select one user to change its data.
¶ International
In the International settings page is possible to select the plc's language. The program looks for translations in the language selected. If not found, it will use the default translation.
Please refer to the Multilanguage section to configure translatable applications.
¶ Date & Time
This page allows to set the date and time of the system.
Once the setup is complete, press the apply button.
¶ Display settings
Here, the display data is displayed.
A basic theme for the pages may be selected from the drop down.
The touchscreen calibration program can be started by pressing the button and confirming the execution.
¶ 3. Calibrate touchscreen
If in the startup page press and hold the screen for nine seconds, the calibration program will be loaded.
After calibrating the screen, The plc must be restarted to reload calibration parameters.
